Pittsburgh International Airport New Terminal Addition

What we did
H&R Steel detailed 15,400 tons of structural steel for the Pittsburgh International Airport Addition in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We were also headlined in Modern Steel Magazine in the July 2025 issue for this project. This high-profile project introduced a new terminal and arrivals area designed to streamline passenger movement and enhance traveler experience. Our scope included detailing, fabrication, and delivery of the steel framework supporting the new headhouse, which centralizes departures and arrivals into one modern hall.
We also supplied structural systems for expanded circulation areas, upgraded amenities, and integration with existing airport infrastructure. Close collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors ensured each steel component was modeled with precision and delivered on schedule. By maintaining rigorous quality standards and meeting complex logistical demands, H&R Steel played a key role in creating a durable, efficient, and future-ready facility for millions of annual passengers.
