What we did

H&R Steel detailed 8,450 tons of structural steel for the Mutual of Omaha Office Tower in Omaha, Nebraska, a landmark project set to become one of the tallest buildings in the city. Rising 44 stories and spanning approximately 800,000 square feet, the tower will feature office, meeting, collaboration, and amenity spaces designed to support modern corporate needs.

Our role included the detailing, fabrication, and delivery of structural steel systems to frame the high-rise core, floors, and support areas. Close collaboration with architects and engineers ensured the steel package met strict design and performance requirements. With construction underway in early 2024 and scheduled for completion in 2026, H&R Steel’s precision and efficiency are helping to anchor a transformative project that will redefine Omaha’s skyline and expand its business district.

"We’ve worked with H&R Steel Detailing on both small and large projects, and they’ve consistently delivered accurate, high-quality drawings on schedule. They’re well-organized, communicate clearly, and are proactive in resolving issues before they reach the field. They are a reliable and professional detailer we trust."
