What we did

H&R Steel played a central role in bringing the University of Utah’s new on-campus baseball facility, Charlie Monfort Field at America First Ballpark, to life. Our scope included the detailing of 2,650 tons of structural steel to support the stadium’s framework, concourse systems, and overall load requirements.

We coordinated closely with project stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency from early modeling through final erection. By implementing advanced steel detailing software and rigorous quality control measures, we reduced field adjustments and accelerated the construction timeline. The result is a durable and precisely executed steel package that anchors a state-of-the-art home venue for the Utah Utes baseball program.

"We’ve worked with H&R Steel Detailing on both small and large projects, and they’ve consistently delivered accurate, high-quality drawings on schedule. They’re well-organized, communicate clearly, and are proactive in resolving issues before they reach the field. They are a reliable and professional detailer we trust."
