What we did

H&R Steel detailed 1,810 tons of structural steel for the trestle system at the new Panasonic Battery Plant in De Soto, Kansas. The trestle spans the full outside perimeter as well as portions of the interior, requiring specialized solutions for varying load demands across different areas of the facility. Our scope included comprehensive detailing and coordination with engineers and fabricators to ensure each section met performance and safety requirements.

Because loads and structural needs varied throughout the project, constant communication and collaboration were essential to achieving precision. By applying advanced modeling tools, rigorous quality reviews, and timely revisions, H&R Steel delivered accurate and dependable detailing that supported the plant’s complex design. The trestle system now provides a durable and reliable framework for one of the region’s most significant industrial projects.
